9 weeks & 6 days old!

Tomorrow you'll be 10 weeks! Another one under the belt. You are still awesome. Right now you and daddy are enjoying tummy time while I sit and relax. Of course I have to get up to check on dinner and entertain a barky Wrigley. I am enjoying this new organized chaos.

You look so cute today in your baby jeans. Definitely one of my favorites on you, especially with the diaper butt.

You are so close to laughing. You may already have a few times, but it's hard to tell. You make a few chuckle sounds, but it's hard to tell if it's a laugh or an almost cry. I can't wait to have this house filled with your giggles!!

Today you found your hands! You started clasping them together, and are reaching for things more. When you do get to something you have a baby death-grip on it. You still smile the most at me, and every time my heart melts.

We also had a visitor! Sam came over and asked us to be in her and Denis' wedding. Daddy is the best man, and mommy is a bridesmaid, and you are the flower girl. You'll be 13 months when the big day is here!!

9 weeks old!

Happy 2 months, baby!

Yesterday you turned 2 months, and today you are 9 weeks. You are smiling and blabbering more and more everyday. You have discovered just how loud you can be. Every once in awhile you let out a big yell/squeal!

Nana visited and stayed with us for 5 whole days! I think she wanted to take you home with her. You had so much fun! Mommy and Daddy even got to go to a birthday party while she watched you. We will see her (and everybody else) in March when we go there for my birthday and Easter. It will be your first of MANY visits to Mommy's first home.

Today is your two month checkup. You will get your first shots. Mommy is not looking forward to it. I wish I could get them instead of you :(. I promise to scoop you up and make it all better when it's done.

We love you more and more everyday. You are amazing. XOXO

7 weeks and 5 days old!

Well, Miss Finley, you are getting so big!

You sat in your bumbo all by yourself, you laughed (in your sleep), you are working on getting your thumb in your mouth, you scooted forward during tummy time last Sunday (which you don't hate anymore!), and you are a non-stop talker. You especially love to talk to Nana on FaceTime :D

You have your two month appointment
next week. I am not looking forward to you getting your shots. I wish I could get them instead. I would write more, but you are all snuggled up with me and I want to enjoy it!
